Summer break is just around the corner, and what better way to spend your extra free time than with an exciting paid internship?
If you are a Philadelphia resident between the ages of 14-18 and looking to work this summer, you’re in luck! Our youth and workforce development programs are currently accepting more than 100 SYS WorkReady summer interns!Summer internships are valuable learning experiences that help motivated young people—like you—gain work experience. Through our program, you will explore your passions while preparing for the future. Plus, you’ll earn some cash along the way—surely to make all your friends green with envy!
SYS WorkReady internship placements offer temporary employment opportunities with local nonprofits, small businesses, hospitality establishments, renowned museums, and summer camps, to name a few. Past opportunities have provided interns with experience in project coordination, office management, research, urban gardening, community outreach, marketing and social media, and more.
SYS WorkReady 2017 runs from Monday, July 3 through Friday, August 11. During this time, interns will work 20 hours per week and participate in professional development programming at ECS once weekly.

- Friday, May 19, 3:00-6:00pm
