Tiffany Patterson Receives ECS' Beverly Gail Barnes-Kelch Exemplary Citizen Award

At this year’s annual Staff Appreciation Day, ECS recognized the work and dedication of Tiffany Patterson, the Site Director at OST (Out of School Time) Feltonville Arts and Sciences.

The ECS Exemplary Citizen Award was created in honor of the late Beverly Gail Barnes-Kelch, the wife of former member of the ECS Board of Trustees, Professor James H. Kelch, Jr. (known to ECS staff as Dr. Kelch). Dr. Kelch's intentions were that this would be an annual, monetary award given to the employee who upholds and exemplifies ECS's mission. This year was particularly significant as ECS celebrated the life of Dr. Kelch, who passed away in November.

At the event, ECS leadership shared stories of Tiffany’s hard work and dedication from her peers at the organization.

One noted, “Working with Tiffany has been an experience for me that I learn from every day. She has shown leadership, compassion, and dedication to our team at Feltonville. There is no other person that I think deserves this award more.”

Another said, “As a result of Tiffany’s leadership, ECS has a strong presence in the school community which allows us to have a mighty impact in the community at-large.”

Congratulations to Tiffany for her steadfast representation of ECS’ values and a deep thank you to the Kelch family for sponsoring the Beverly Gail Barnes-Kelch Exemplary Citizen Award since its inception 23 years ago.
