Facilitated and interactive, fathers are encouraged to speak openly about their experiences as parents, share tips and useful information with their peers, and challenge one another to be better fathers at home and leaders in their communities.
“We can all learn from each other. I like the atmosphere because it’s different minds … different things [people] can speak on … what they’ve been through,” said Santino, who has been a member of the group for years.
Thought-provoking conversations and topics include the stages of child development, abuse and neglect, and varied approaches to positive parenting.
