Summer is all about sunshine, warmth, and the joy of coming together as a community. On June 1, we were honored to celebrate with the community at our third annual Summer Block Party!
This special event brought together people from all walks of life for a day of food, fun, and festivities.
It was a true celebration of diversity and unity! Neighbors, volunteers, and supporters joined us for an unforgettable day filled with laughter and connection. Music filled the air as the West Powelton Steppers and Drum Squad put on an incredible performance. Children of all ages (adults included) had their faces painted, played a variety of games, and enjoyed delicious barbecued food favorites. There was something for everyone to enjoy!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made this year’s Summer Block Party a day to remember! ECS volunteers and sponsors worked tirelessly to ensure that the event was a resounding success – a true testament to the power of community.
